Captiva

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

My Captiva had the engine and catalytic converter go out. I had paid for the extended warranty, they said that the engine was done. There was no fixing it. I was told that the warranty would only cover the cost of up to what my car was worth. By the time they had replaced the engine, and put everything back together I ended up being charged $7000!!!!! Shortly after, my transmission started slipping. I traded that vehicle in so fast, I'd never recommend that dealer or the Captiva to ANYONE. It was nothing short of a money pit.
