problem #2

Jan 172010

Cavalier 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 180,000 miles

This car had a new battery and a good alternator - Car would run if jumped off - but if we killed it - it couldn't start. Over night the battery would go dead, after having a new battery.

The Car was jumped with a partially dead battery and would run for about 10 mins - then would start to miss like it was running out of gas, but it wasn't. Then it would kill and it would not start.

ANYONE know how to fix this - I would GREATLY appreciate it! Thanks!

I have replaced the starter and had the alternator checked and replaced the battery 3 times. Everytime it's dead and needed replacing. Don't know where to turn.
