Cavalier 2.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

The transmission would not disengage when attempting to stop. This was a severe safety problem, because the car would run red light or stop sign, or the engine would die. I had a transmission specialists advise this was a regular problem with this model and also Buicks. He has to remanufacture a new part because a factory replacement part was also defective.
