I have a 2005 chev cavalier with a 2.2 liter , 5 speed trans, which started acting very badly a couple of weeks ago, at about 110km/hr after about 90kms it suddenly loses all power and will only rev up to about 1000rpm and this last usually for about 20 minutes, if I shut it off and wait a few minutes it seems to work ok till the next time, I've already had a new converter installed on this through warranty, but after a few hundred km's it did the same thing this morning on my way to work, any help would be greatly appreciated

Today my Cavalier died only minutes after I had left my house. I was on a busy street, but luckily when it crapped out on me I was able to turn off from the street. This is not the first time this has happened. Earlier this week it did this on my way to work. I had my fuel pump replaced in January of 2009 because it crapped out in the middle of the night. Now here it is a little over a year and I am having the same problem. This car just dies without warning, it just loses power. I am so sick of this car...I will NEVER buy a car like this again...luckily I am done paying the car off next May.
