Cavalier LS V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 91,000 miles

After electrical problems, brake issues, a/c issues, badically anything that could go wrong has gone wrong with this LEMON, and then my trans went out. Chevy offered no assistance or possible explanation, warranty was expired. Chevy wanted 2400.00 to install new trans. I ended up getting a used one installed for 1800.00. This is unacceptable. I Will Never buy a Chevrolet vehicle again.

Cavalier LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

My car is a 2005 and only has 36,000 miles on it... well a little over, and the warranty went out last November!!! Now all the sudden my TRANSMISSION WENT OUT! arent transmissions supposed to last a LONG time? How does a transmission go out on a car with this many miles on it? This is ridiculous! Now since it is not under warranty I have to pay $2,000 to get it fixed??? I never raced this car... I got the transmission serviced as I needed to, and took care of it very well. I have had nothing but problems with this car since the summer after the warranty expired.
