I bought the car new at a dealer in Burlington, NC. I always kept up on oil changes but when the car started making clanging noises and running rough I took it to the dealer. He told me that I had a bad build-up of engine sludge and may need a new engine. He told me that it was probably caused by using the wrong oil (I usually use Pennzoil). Other than that I can't get any satisfaction from the dealer or any other assistance. BUT>>they would be willing to take it in as a trade IF I BUY A NEW ONE!!

Sorry, but it sounds like BS to me. After reading about all the other complaints in your website, I'd say there was something wrong with the engine which GM should be responsible for. Bad engine, but a real good time for them to stand behind their product!!
