The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt. The contact stated that the lower control arm was failing. She heard a loud noise coming from the vehicle, which affected the tires. The vehicle has not been taken to the dealer for inspection. The contact has taken her vehicle to other mechanics and was informed that the lower control arm needed to be replaced. She believes that the mechanics are trying to get over on her. The vehicle will eventually be repaired. The failure mileage was 65,000.

I bought my 2005 Cobalt in June of '05. Had numberous problems with it but the one I'd like to know more about is the lower control arm rear bushings. I replaced 'bad' ones in June of 2007 and have to replace them again. I do not feel as though this should be necessary. Any information on these?
