Cobalt LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

OK, I'm not sure how long tires are supposed to last, but I was for sure longer than 35,000 miles. If you keep them rotated and filled properly, which I did. Well around 35000 miles I had to get 4 new tires, because they all seemed to go down. The issue actually started around 30000 with the front passenger tire. No matter how much air I put in it, it still went down. Found out there was a hole, so I got a new one. Then progressively the other tires started to go down, but this time, no hole in either of them. It's like they were responding to their sick tire friend with empathy. Which is ok as long as the sick tire friend is sick, BUT this was even after I replaced the tire. So at 32000 the sick tire is doing wonderful and well and the other 3 are Kaput!!

Cobalt 3.2

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

The front tires went bald at 28,000 miles. the back are ok. At least GM is covering all this stuff under warranty or recall.
