This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
Most problems (AC broke after 20,000; recall for regulation non-compliance; premature fading of the interior panels and armrests) associated with this vehicle were fixed by the very friendly Chevy dealership; however, the water (rain) leak was another matter. The dealership cannot seem to find the leak and are very indifferent about the problem. The assistant maintenance service manager even told me the reason for the leak was that the car was damaged in a collision and that was the reason for the leak and showed me an "irregular"seam on the leak side and said that the car would have never left the factory with a seam weld as bad as mine. It is odd that the irregular seam that he was talking about is also on the non-leaking side of the vehicle and other new Cobalts. No, the vehicle has not been in a wreck. I was also told that the car was not purchased at his dealership (he was making excuses). I told him fiddle sticks (so what) and to fix the vehicle. Two days after bringing the vehicle home, a heavy rain occurred and more leaks.
I like to support American companies because I am an American and I also understand that things happen. It amazes me that the greatest nation and probably one of the greatest automobile manufacturer on the planet cannot build reliable vehicles; however, we are only human. I only ask that problems should be fixed when they occur.
Very Respectfully,
An American

Don't know if its the Sunroof drain or a/c. I think its Sunroof. I had floor completely dry until it rained then 3inches of water in passenger floorboard. We tried blowing out ac drain. No luck. Had people say it's the heater core. No. It does it when it rains.
