I have had my '' brakes'' fixed 5 times in 8 months there"s no possible way for that to happen without a defeact!! Brake pads replace all 5 times rotors 3 times! The $550 is what Chevorlet charged the last time and said that we never changed the back brakes so it was causing the front to continue to go out!! Well apparently B/S B/C it is happening again 3 wks later!!!!! i refuse to pay for another brake change all in all i have spent about $1300 on brakes and rotors for my car in 8 months!!! Im callin GM tomorrow and telling them to fix this problem, i refuse to spend another $1000 for more brakes or rotors!!! Chevorlet Colbalts r made very cheap and they suck!!!

The mechanic said that the brake pads are "too good" in the way they don't wear down. He said they looked really good considering they're are the original factory brakes. My car started shaking violently when applying the brakes a little over a year after purchasing it brand new!!!! I bought a new car so that I knew it was taken care of and to minimize the risks of surprise repairs. So far its cost me $150 to replace the rotors and its back in the shop now because the front right suspension has gone out and it rattles constantly going over the smallest bump. The mechanic replaced what he thought was wrong with it and that cost me an additional $200!!! I'm running out of money! But as I said its back in the shop with something else making a horrible metal on metal bang when I turn the wheel and go in reverse and again when I put it in drive and move forward!
