December 2009 I was traveling N/b 35E in Dallas Texas during the lunch hour. Headed back to my job at TXU coming from DISD downtown Dallas.. Traffic started slowing down and I brakes with the traffic that was slowing suddenly. As i hit the brake my car sort of slid a bit and veered left to the shoulder, i tried to straighten my car back up but i couldn't my steering wheel powering steer was GONE! I could not control my vehicle so i lost control and skidded and spun out in traffic. here comes a large 18 wheeler in my lane coming at full speed!!! omg! God help me!! I could not move out of the way nor was he coming to risk his life moving over with his load so he just HIT ME! after the hit... now my steering wheel is back working? WOW are you kidding me?... a year later GM announces this recall.. in my head I'm thinking! YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME GM!! Shame. I will never ever buy GM again. I'd actually prefer one of my old lemons before I purchase this nightmare SCARY SCARY SCARY... I'm still scared
