Colorado LS 3.5L

Two years after I purchased this truck, 08/2007, I was rear ended. The lady repeatedly said that, she didn't see my brake lights. I didn't believe her.

This week (07/18/2014) I have been told that, I don't have brake lights three times,(every time that I check the lights, they are working.

Any suggestions?
