The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact opened the tailgate and noticed that one side was completely tight and the other side was loose. He feels that one side will fail soon since all of the pressure is on one side. Chevrolet advised him not to repair it because it was normal with his type of vehicle. The current and failure mileages were 15,000. Updated 09/05/07.
