I have owned GM vehicles all my life I do my own repairs on the simple stuff, alternators batteries, brakes, belts. The repairs you can do at home. And GM i have to hand it to you. After years of doing brakes, rotors and drum brakes. I for the life of me cannot figure why you have rotors installed in such a crappy way on my 2006 Colorado. All the rest my GM cars/trucks you take the wheels off, the brake caliper and the rotors come off. The Colorado is so poorly designed. Why did you make it so you have to remove the hub steering knuckle cruise control wire, Ohh yes.. because the brake job now is around 700$ Good call GM. get some new engineers and go back the the old way. I hear the Silverados still have the rotors still come off without tearing apart the suspension.
