I purchased the Colorado because Chevy's stated MPG was 19 city 27 Hwy. I've never come close since I purchased the vehicle. I had a Ford F250 with a 6.0L diesel getting 13 MPG. I thought at worst I may get 23 24 MPG...but 20MPG at best sucks! I don't peel out...I drive 70 tom 80n on highways. I don't have the truck full of crap. I have a capper on the rear but that can't be the reason for 5 to 7 MPG...Can it??

No excuse for emissions control solenoids and purge valves to go bad in 48.000 miles.....only excuse is poor workmanship from 3rd world countries that our car makers have contracted to produce junk to rip off the American public who have no choice but to buy crap. Parts used to last a lot longer when they were made here in Michigan, and other parts of the US>.....then they wonder why people buy Japanese makes or German made vehicles for the quality, instead of the headaches of dealing with overpriced junk from Mexico and Taiwan, to name a few places....
