The steering is so hard that most small woman won't drive. After driving for some time your hand can become very sore, HURTING. The steering wheel does not return to center at any time, even when making a 90 degree corner. I have never herd of a vehicle that is operating correctly to work like this. GM is trying to state to me that this is normal, NOT in this world. I had a 2008 Colorado that steered fine. Must be that it was abnormal to GM so they changed it. I also have a theory if this is what they are intending the truck to steer like. They definitely had an issue of tire shaking when going over bumps in the road. It was more noticeable with the 2008, but it did not cause the vehicle to vere in any way. But you thought something was very wrong. I think their solution to this was to dampen the steering. I would take the shaking of the front tires any day over this TANK.

I test dove a 2012 4x4 that was pretty much the same in style. The results were totally different. The steering was easy and had NO problem returning to center at all.
