Seat belt cable broke. In my opinion the square edge of the crimp has weakened and ultimately caused the cable to be cut

Seat belt cable broke between anchor on floor and first connection. Brought to chevrolet dealer and they said they haven't seen that before. Now I wonder if the other seat belts are defective. There was no previous warning
