I have severe nerve damage in my lower body and legs. My vehicle's first problem was when it had a few thousand miles in Washington DC/Arlington VA area when in town driving the car's transmission prevents it from driving over 10 MPH without sounding like it would blow up, this was after the vehicle completely stopped and would not move for 15 minutes. Browns Dealership said there was no record in the vehicle computer to validate my complaint after being towed into the dealership. Next on 7 June the morning of an appointment to check for complaints of shaking, plus oil change the battery is completely dead. I called the dealership and they said they didn't do tow's even on dead vehicles they sold that are scheduled for an appointment that same day. ONSTAR was no help so I had to call USAA to attend to jumping the vehicle via my insurance roadside service. Am I getting a bad vibe that this vehicle is both dangerous and unreliable, and that ONSTAR must also be shutting down my attempts to use the vehicle or Chevy roadside service to prevent statistics on this vehicles problems???
My vehicle shakes at around 60 MPH now. Before the vehicle only shook over 65 MPH. If you go 72/75 MPH you can watch the phone shake in the mount and fly off onto the floor; you can watch ice and liquid in a cup shake like it is boiling. You can see the vehicle shake in the mirror at times. The hood on the vehicle shakes at all speeds.
I drove to DC from Fayetteville NC on Tuesday 11 June 2019 and I had to stop three times because the shaking was causing my legs and back to have severe nerve pain. When I got to DC about two hours after arriving I laid down and began having back pain like never before in my life, with a spasm session that was intense with about 300 different electric jolts in a two hour period.
To say this this vehicle is a "Real Pain" is to put it mildly in my case.
From looking at the forums on Tuesday I realized the Chevy-Shake is real for hundreds of owners over the years and for the Colorado platform vehicles. That the drive shaft, transmission, or other underbody hardware is at fault or never diagnosed.
This vehicle is causing me major bodily harm and I'm going to buy a hundred lemons and glue them to the body and put signs on it advising for all to see the problems this vehicle has if not fixed on 20 June 2019, and then I'm going to join all the disparate class action lawsuits against GM.
When I spoke to GM Customer Care on 13 June 2019, they asked me what my solution/resolution was and I said check the battery for a bad cell, and check the vehicle for transmission or transaxle or whatever GM's top five Tech Advisory Bulletins said to check for this problem. Or they could swap out my vehicle for comparable value vehicle if not resolved.

I've got 16000 miles on a 2018 Chevy Colorado. I just noticed a problem recently which is like driving over a rumble strip. At first I discounted it because they had just rotated the tires and I attributed the problem to be the tires. After a couple of weeks I thought I'd better browse the internet and see if anyone else is having this problem. I now see that several have and most have said that GM hasn't fixed the problem. I see where they are having dealerships change the transmission fluid and it seems to be helping some.
My question would be what kind of damage has been done already and how permanent is the fluid change as to solving the problem? A 60,000 mile or five year warranty isn't very long to see how things work out. I'm loving the truck other than this issue and nothing else has been a problem but I'm retired and my wife and I are just working class people who can't afford what I would expect to be a $12,000 additional expense of buying another vehicle.
I can assure you that it won't be a Chevrolet though which is sad because this will be my third Chevy truck and the other two were able to be driven without incident.
