The parking brake failed this morning. It would not release properly, then would not set again once released. Upon inspection, the ratcheting mechanism was not functioning correctly. Must replace the entire parking brake control module. Vehicle is out of warranty & part is ~$100 online or ~$150 at dealership. Unsure what installation would cost.
