Colorado ZR2 6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,954 miles

Purchased a showroom 2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 with extra bells and whistles at the end of May this year, and after the annoying OnStar bogus price set up, we finally start to drive our absolutely brand new Colorado home.

Speedometer says 581 kms?? Huh. Anyway, approximately 3 kms from dealership I noticed vibration in the steering wheel and a pretty significant pull to the right side. I call the dealership and explain problem to salesperson, she says to return at once so I do.

As far as "honest" sales people she's 100%. First service manager wants to take it for a test drive so I'm definitely going with, and after farting around and his attempted flaccid explanations he agrees to have a front alignment done.

My salesperson actually went into garage to watch mechanic and reported back to me about how terribly off the wheel camphor was, and that the computer was showing in red when first tested.

Great - problem fixed! Except 1 month later, once I get to know my Colorado better, I realize that upon starting up almost 90% of the time it clunks loudly!!! Almost sounds like its dropping into a gear??? I tried different grades including a totally flat surface but it's always the same horrendous noise.

Definitely taking this to dealership for analysis.

I don't EXACTLY have confidence in GM services since everyone seems to be getting the run around.

Let me quess, they'll change transmission fluid and maybe a torque converter and I guarantee it will still be the exact same P.O.S transmission as before.

Definitely will add the update though.
