Issue with shifting, noise, speed, slip, stuttering, shuttering, vibrating, bouncing, fan continues to run once shut off, etc - took to transmission service location in Largo Florida - told it would cost +$7300 to fix, age 5 years 3 mos, with 83,000 miles. At time of purchase 11/2019 - bought an extended service plan for 6 years or 100,000 miles with Fidelity Warranty Services from a Chevrolet Dealer Bill Cramer in Panama City Beach. Subsequently, once a problem was identified and a claim was needed, I was told the coverage started at time of in-service date 11/2018 and plan was null and void less than the 6 years on contract and less than the 100,000 miles - buried in fine print that was not provided at time of purchase/sale of vehicle.

Researched online many other owners had similar issues with transmissions for same model 2019 Chev. Colorado - and noted class action lawsuit being filed. Vehicle cost +$32,000 less than 5 1/2 years ago and now requires in excess of $7300 to fix. The Chevrolet dealer mislead a female buyer (sex discrimination) on the effectiveness and use of the service contract, and Chevrolet as a manufacturer built a truck to last less than 5 1/2 years. Chevrolet (General Motors) is not providing a solution to the poor quality at dealership nor from the manufacturing plant for the issue with transmission. Based on the multiple plaintiffs in class action lawsuit, others have also had a negative overall experience.

After spending 5 hours at the dealership and not 'qualifying' for total special price in ad, we purchased and signed for a new 2019 z71 w/ 4 miles on it. We lived 50 or so miles away and we started home we got about 8 miles from home and the transmission started slipping and smelled like it was burning. Dealer sent tow-truck to take it back. 4 days later I called. They want to put new one in and give truck back to me!!! I don't think so.

I've checked complaints on-line and it seems that this a transmission problem in general. Is there only one company making them???
