Corvette 8-cyl

  • Manual transmission

Rear chassis suspension mount failure (upper control arm breaks from chassis). This appears to be as a result of improper weld penetration when the chassis was first assembled. The weak weld eventually let go. I have the same condition as occurred on other vehicles, such as this one here: forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?T=262516&page=1 this is a serious failure, which could result in total loss of control of the vehicle.
