When brakes are applied they start to catch and a grinding, chattering is felt in the brakes until I let up off the pedal. The active handling code appears and then goes away. On several occasions the active handling code appears and will not go away until the vehicle is switched off anf then restarted.

The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated while driving various speeds the brakes locked. Immediately after the brakes locked he noticed a warning light that stated service action handling. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 13,600. The current mileage was approximately 13,700. The VIN was unavailable.
