The list goes on and on. I get a check engine coolant error that the dealership can't diagnose. My car smells like fuel. Sometimes it smells foul coming from the ac. I get a tire flat warning when my tires are just fine. My brakes won't stop squeeling even after buying new rotars and pads. My headlights suffered from something called mazing in which the lights have tiny little cracks in them all over causing no way to drive at night due to poor visibility and the lights cost $1200 for just one meaning it would cost $2500 to get new lights put on a used car. This is just ridiculous. GM knows what they did but didn't care to help me on the headlights.

On 3-23-11 while merging onto the expressway, the right rear wheel of my 2008 corvette Z-06 broke off at the lug nuts. Because I was accelerating at the time, all the power went to the left rear causing my car to turn violently to the right and smash into the concrete retaining wall. The cause of the accident was a failure in the casting of the aluminum wheel. The police report lists cause as equipment failure, wheel broke off vehicle. The cause is obvious when looking at the vehicle, due to the fact the there was no impact into the wall by the rear of the car. GM will not examine the car properly.

I was driving my 2008 Corvette Z06 that has 12500 miles on it. I was merging onto I-94 at little mack when my right rear wheel broke off at the lug nuts. When the wheel broke off the car violently turned to the right and slammed into the concrete retaining wall. There is absolutely no damage to the right rear quarter panel. GM's contention is that the wheel broke off on impact, there was no impact to that part of the vehicle and I have many photos to support what actually happened. Because my car has no damage in the area where the wheel came off the problem is obvious. It may not be apparent in other vehicles that have had a similar catastrophic wheel failure due to damage sustained as a result of impact in an accident and GM's willingness to cover it up.
