Car is a 2011 Corvette grand sport coupe. Intermittent display of "max speed 80 mph, service active handling, service traction system and the security light for the antitheft system stays on. When you turn the car off and restart 1-2 times, codes clear and operation returns to normal. Took car back to dealer three times. Last time (28000 miles) they kept car overnight and drove over 100 miles before they finally reproduced the problem. On 6/12/12 they replaced the ebcm and invoice description said "28216 checked and found codes P2548 and P0856. Performed diagnostic for codes and found intermittent loss of data from ebcm to ECM. Replaced ebcm and reprogrammed module. Code #28841. Rechecked after repairs ok at this time". problem recurred last week on 8/26/12 at 33000 miles. Will take back to dealer this week.
