Corvette 2LT 6.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,536 miles

When you make a tight turn of the the car, specially from a fresh start in the morning, you can really feel the loud and strong vibration of the steering wheel and the whole front suspensions of the car. I called the dealership where I bought the car brand new and said its normal. I brought it to another chevy dealership and I got the same answered. My wife doesn't even want to touch the car and got scared hell out of it when she tried to drive it one time to work. I called GM customer service and made a complaint and until now no feedback from GM. I am looking for a group of owners to file a legal case against GM about the same issue and I think if GM can not address or fix the problem, they need to buy back our cars.

Update from Feb 16, 2017: To all corvette owners with similar issues like my car, call (866)790-5600 Chevrolet customer service hot line and file a case/complaint. I able to resolve my issue. Chevrolet replace all my tires with Michelin all season type of tires, front 245x35x19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ZP(zero pressure) and rear 285x30x20 Pilot Sport A/S 3+ZP and that very annoying noise gone away. Its a tire problem, they call it "tire hopping". Chevrolet is aware of it.These Michelin tires that I got from Chevrolet is just newly release by MIchelin for Corvette Stingray only. This tires is all season type with run flat capability, it is quite, softer ride and handling and most importantly that hopping noise is gone.

Corvette Z06 V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50 miles

I never owned a car that would feel like riding on oval tires when driving vehicle during a tight radius. Dealership claims it is normal. I notified Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center on 6/3/16 and was assigned Case # 8-2141485048 but to date, 6/25/16, I have not heard a word. I do not drive vehicle very often, only 700 miles during past 13 months since purchase, but this anomaly is frustrating at best.

General Motors needs to fix this problem.

Corvette LT2 V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34 miles

I bought this 2105 Stingray off the showroom floor and it lists for over 71 grand only to back it into my garage bringing it home from the dealership (Bill Estes Chevrolet in Indianapolis) and have the front tires thump so loudly and the front end jerks like the tires are hitting something. My sons comment when seeing me pull it in was "What in the hell is that...that can't be right"??? When talking to the dealership I was told it is just the way the new Stingrays are and it's "NORMAL" ?????

I have had several Vettes and never experienced this and to be told by a service manager that there is no fix and it's normal???? Are they kidding me? I would have never purchased this Corvette if I knew it had a serious engineering flaw!!!! Would You???? This car had only 10 miles on it and was bought off the showroom floor...never did the salesman or anyone else disclose or tell us there was problem with the 2015 Stingrays...That's just fraudulent in my eyes.
