This occurred while traveling southbound, on Interstate 65, in southern Indiana, on a section of road that I have traveled frequently. I was traveling at roughly 60mph in a 55mph zone, with the car in touring mode. I ran over an expansion joint that was slightly raised. This caused the rear of the car to actually become light/airborne.
The car immediately started having a new vibration at highway speed. Upon having the vehicle inspected, it was found that all 4 wheels were bent. An insurance claim was filed due to the expensive nature of the repair. All 4 wheels were repaired and an alignment was done.
