My car was overheating, which I never ran it when it got hot. All the coolant would leak out. And now my head gasket is blown and its because there was a water pump leak. Severely upset! Chevy better pay for this beings there is a recall on the water pump, even though they never let me know about it until I had to have my car towed and I Googled it!

I had my water pump replaced and now I'm having power failure and my car just dies while driving. My traction control is also out. Last GM car for me!

In addition to our other problems the water pump is leaking. I will never buy another GM piece of crap.

Check Engine light came up. I noticed erratic behavior from the heat gauge. Chevrolet diagnosed it as a leak from the water pump associated with the failure of the water pump.

The air conditioner had been making a hissing noise leading up to this issue. The engine suddenly went idle as it was about to over heat. I had to pull off highway and get it towed to nearest mom-and-pop repair shop. They fixed the pump, but that did not solve the hissing noise or the full problem. This was the start of 3 individual fixes each costing $1000.
