Cruze LT 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,500 miles

Recently during a short trip (about three hours) The tranny would slip or jerk when I went to pass another vehicle and had to increase speed, but more noticeable was while going uphill on the parkway. Running 70 mph with and without the CC set, the car would jerk multiple times after kicking down to increase speed. I reported it to the dealer where we purchased the car and of course they couldn’t make it happen after driving around town a few minutes (and there are no check engine lights or codes) so they tell me to come get it and there is nothing they can do.

T

his royally burns my backside because it’s less than 2000 miles from the extended warranty expiring! I am even more annoyed because the dealership is Don Moore in Owensboro Ky (the largest dealer in town) whom I have purchased several new vehicles!

I’m sure the service dept folks are just doing what they’re instructed to do but I know this isn’t the first report of this problem with this model.

Maybe I should ask one of them to go on a ride along and keep them in the car until it does it again!
