Cruze LS 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 110,000 miles

Cannot defrost the windshield, estimated $1200 cost to repair for a $10 part. Had to make homemade deflectors for the dash vents to direct air to the windshield.

Cruze 1.4L 4-Cyc

  • Automatic transmission

I live in Central Wisconsin that being said when the front defrost does not work this is a problem. When I am driving in -10 degree weather against the window this causes a major issue that could possibly cause an accident with not only myself but with other drivers.

Cruze RS 1.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

The worst car I have ever owned! I want my Toyota back!! Loud wind noise in drivers door above 40 mph. Transmission on the RS model is terrible..it catches and drags or jerks at times when coasting down to slower speeds while driving in town below 30 mph. Turbo froze up on me driving home on a cold night. Car stalled Acceleration is not smooth... most of the time. A hesitation which is dangerous at busy intersections!!!! I have never gotten better than 30 mpg..actual.. out of this car on any highway trip. Never better than 22 mpg in town. Car computer shows 28 and 36 mpg. What a scam. U take the total miles driven from a full tank of fuel from full to almost empty..Fill up and divide the total miles driven by the total number of gallons to refill. That is how you calculate fuel mileage. My cars computer has a different type of math!! (Jethro Math) Took car to local dealer. They lost my work order for 24 hours. Then they told me the car checks out on their computer and handed me my keys. I have scheduled my car at another Chev. dealer which promises a full going through. But tonight my car died while driving the 3 miles from my job to home on a cold night. I could smell what smelt like oil,,then some smell like fuel..then my car sputtered and died. Not one check light ever came on during the entire event. I did get my car restarted and managed to get home. But it will not idle for very long with out wanting to stall.
