premature brake & rotor wear

The drivers side rear brake started showing discoloration at 39000 miles. Pad wear was significantly more than passenger side rear, and fronts both had less wear than either rear pad set. I serviced the drivers side rear with new brake pads and checked caliper operation to insure that the caliper releases the rotor. The car is at 44000 miles now. The picture shows the state of the original rotor. I had to replace the rotor because it is so out of flat that the brakes pulse when applied. I purchased a new Delco rotor and installed it when I rechecked for caliper and pad free travel. I have multiple times checked that the caliper releases the rotor when the brake pedal is released, it seems all good. When I check the rotors after travel the suspect rotor drivers side rear is much hotter than the other three. I believe this rotor is going to get cooked to.

I recently had warranty work done on the transmission, fluid leak, looks okay so far; and the dealer said he couldn't do anything but perform brake maintenance to all four wheels at a cost of $800. At 44,000 miles on a brand new car this is not acceptable. Last night I checked to make sure that the caliper piston was not contaminated with corrosion, it is clean. don't see how it is happening but its caliper is not releasing the rotor. New calipers for the rear are $100 +, that is extreme as well. I have investigated to find service information for this caliper type. Does anyone have the information.
