Dealer wanted $250 to replace the Cam cover / PCV valve. I did it myself for $60. My check engine code was P0171.

I have a 2012 Cruze LTZ. Had Cracked Valve Cover replaced at 43,000 miles, 74,000 miles, and now at 130,000 miles. I am no mechanic, but I do know this is not normal!

PCV Valve had a leak. I was unable to just replace the PCV valve since it was not made to be changed out. I had to buy whole thing. Check engine light did come on.
