I bought a 2013 Cruze with a manual transmission and 80K miles on it, but once winter arrived I noticed I could not get any heat to come out in the floor vents. I researched it online and determined there was a common issue with a plastic part in the blend door controls that would break after some time. I ordered the updated thicker plastic part and begun tearing into my dash only to find that mine was not broken! So I went ahead and replaced my original part with the updated one to prevent another issue from arising and took it to a shop to try and fix the original issue. The shop re-calibrated the unit and it worked correctly for a short time and then defaulted back to it's old ways. So as of right now no settings will allow heat to come out at the feet regardless of what you do.
