cracked piston.I had a cracked piston on the #4. GM replaced the engine after 30 days of ownership. Not happy about this since according to their Chevy Cruze Forum they have known about the piston issue since sometime in 2012 and have not done a recall. Giving serious consideration to finding a good class action attorney. GM has me beyond frustrated.

We brought the Cruze in for the 6th time for a recall. This time for the ECM update. Immediately following this update we noted power loss with the vehicle. The car was a "dog" upon acceleration, it sounded like it had a miss, and fuel mileage went down. We brought it to Palm Chevrolet in Ocala where it was determined that the pistons and rings had to be replaced due to "blow by". The car only has 23,000 miles on it! The car is STILL at the dealership being repaired 7 days later.
