I was driving on a snowy day, when my driver side windshield wiper went on top of the passenger windshield wiper and stop working. You couldn't imaging how I was feeling. I pulled over and untangled the wipers. The passenger side kept working but the driver side stopped. I had to drive all the way home looking out the windshield passenger side.
I took the car to the Chevrolet dealer the same day to have them take a look at the wiper. They told me I had to replace the motor for the driver side and it wasn't cheap. This is not safe at all. You need to recall this car and take a look at this problem before someone gets killed.

Driving to work and the passengers windshield wiper turned on momentarily. It went on top of the drivers wiper and stopped. Pulled over and re-positioned it but it no longer works. Heard a rattle for about 3-4 days prior. This is a definite safety risk when in winter in Michigan. Wipers are a must! Now what?

drivers side wiper not moving
Rainy day today and tonight. Leaving work, Wipers working fine, turning onto Highway and drivers side wiper got caught under passenger side. Not a problem right? Just get out of the car and fix it. Unfortunately that did not work. Drivers side wiper will not move at all. Passenger side works fine. Very dangerous as of course you need your drivers side clear while driving especially durring a rain storm. Hopefully will be coverd under warranty. We shall see.

My wife was on her way to work in the next city over, which is about an hour away drive to go to work. Traveling on a narrow and not so great highway in which the speed limit is 65 mph in a wintry mix storm, when all of a sudden the driver side windshield wiper stopped working making it impossible to see. This is one of two vehicles which we have that we transport our 1 year old twins around in. So needless to say this could have been a disaster if this would have occurred with them in the car.
Looking on this site I see there have been various complaints about this issue with these cars and nothing has been done as far as a recall from GM. Its very disappointing to have a car in which we have 2 plus years of payments left, the dealership say we can't trade in due to the negative value on the car and this company does not seem to care enough to put a recall out.
That being said the moment the chance arrives that we can get out of two GM produced products we will not be going back to this brand.
