Cruze was back to dealer 3 times before today while under warranty-nothing found that was repaired. They changed battery cable and cleaned connections but never a code for diagnostics. 4th time today and dealer wants $99 to drive around for 2 days (odds of it occurring in 2-3 days are zero and none). Symptoms- The vehicle will be driving fine at normal speed (more frequent problem at highway speed) and suddenly decelerate. If the gas is pushed down, the car decelerates QUICKER. When I let off of the gas, it resumes normal deceleration. It would not shift into neutral so I could accelerate (this seems to fix problem once vehicle is stopped) so have to let car come to full stop and will then shift into neutral. After hitting accelerator once or twice, I can shift into drive and car reacts normally.
Dealer is Marhofer Chevrolet and car should be repaired or replaced under lemon laws. It's done this 3 times on interstate during rush hour and once on city street with light traffic. Very afraid this defect could kill me as highways have 6 lanes and not enough room to maneuver off of the roadway during high traffic volumes.

I have a 2014 Cruze. It accelerates on its own. GM is of no help. Have had it in 4 times to dealership. They say can't duplicate, come get your car. I have almost hit a guy on a bike and also a kid walking in front of me while sitting at a stop sign. They expect me to drive a very unsafe car and refuse to keep driving it until it occurs to them.
NEVER BUY A GM PRODUCT AGAIN! THEY HAVE NO CONCERN FOR YOU OR YOUR FAMILY SAFETY.
THE DEALERSHIP SUGGESTED I BUY A NEW CAR FROM THEM. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
