I really didn't pay attention to the exact date I noticed this. It looks really bad. Hate to have anyone in my car. I've never had this happen in any vehicles I've owned in the past.

Beware of paint peeling off the interior components i.e. door handle, storage compartment. etc. Look awful.

The interior finish on the dashboard is horrendous! The paint has come off almost all of our buttons on our radio and there are a few minor problem areas around the gear shift. I am almost certain that GM has fixed this problem with newer models. At least I hope anyways, this shows poor judgement on GM's part.

The Equinox is a fine example of how GM has cheapened their product. Poor interior trim. Seats stain if they get damp. Windshield washer pump quit. Gas cap broke. GM needs to make a better quality product if they expect people to continue to buy from them.

this is a great example of how GM has cheapened their product without concern for their customers.

Bought the car used for my fiancé a few years ago. It does have a lot of miles but was well maintained its whole life. A lot of the interior trim on this car seemed to have been painted with very cheap paint. Every piece of trim on the door handles has paint just chipping away. Same with the climate controls. It just rubs off and looks terrible.
