Equinox LT 3.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 51,000 miles

No body damage to vehicle, paint just decided to flake off, and start rusting over the rear wheel wells. Just add another reason I will never buy another GM product again.

Equinox LT AWD 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 22,000 miles

When my step daughter found this rust on the inside door jam of the back doors, I took my SUV to the dealership and showed them. They immediately put it in the shop, sanded repainted it and said this was a problem with the model because of the backsplash of the back tire. If you don't have mud flaps this can happen to you. The fix other than mud flaps is a trim sticker that goes over the paint which keeps it from rusting. I keep my eye on this, because after buying my car used, I did notice it was bought in New York..Lots of snow!! Lots of Salt!!! No other problems with my Equinox, other than I feel like the transmission is not going into 2nd gear sometimes.. so I let off on the gas and let it. I have actually pulled an Expedition out of the mud with this SUV and it's just a V6!! The only othere thing is..you can't keep the cloth seats or interior clean!!! UGH!!
