Back door/hatch does not open/unlock. I am an old lady (65 yrs) and can not constantly be climbing to the back seat to get access to the back area. This should be a recall issue, since I have read lots of complaints online about how others are having this same issue. One complainant stated it was his fourth time getting it repaired and he had just paid $200.00. If this has been an ongoing problem, why hasn't Chevrolet stepped up to correct this issue? Why should I have to pay $200+ for an item that is definitely something that should have been recalled? I love my Equinox, and HATE the back door/hatch!!! Ugh! I don't see why I have to pay out of my pocket to fix a mistake/issue that is not my fault.

JUST ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER WITH THIS PIECE OF CRAP VEHICLE . EITHER PAY MY MORTGAGE AND UTILITIES OR REPAIR SUV CRAP. CAN'T EVEN AFFORD TO SELL OR PURCHASE OTHER TRANSPORTATION . OTHER MINOR PROBLEMS HAVE OVERLOOKED
