The whole steering column vibrates like a nervous criminal. Evey time I press the brakes at any speed the vibration radiates from the steering wheel throughout my arms.

I've recently noticed when I'm sitting idle or go to pull away at a stop light that a gurgling noise (sounds like water rushing through pipes) occurs. Sounds like it's coming from behind where the speedometer is. I have checked for leaks under the car and have found none. All the fluids are full. I've noticed an odd smell when I use my defroster so I'm not sure if its related or not?
