The radio stays on after the driver door is open and occasionally it keeps playing after the door is shut---and yes the key is out of the ignition!!! So you have to open and shut the door a second time to get it to turn off.

The radio /cd player was constantly breaking - cds constantly changing when car was off... the junky cd player -started to kill the battery - which shorted out the starter.
I was stranded .. far from home.. two small kids in the car... a kagillion degrees outside.. fighting with the dealership about why I'm stranded.
Horrible car. horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible

This is a combo problem - part car/ part dealership.
The radio in this car - with 6 disk cd player - is completely TERRIBLE!!!!!! In the 4 years of owning this car - I have had the radio replaced at least 9 times. now - I can live without a radio in my car... However - the cds constantly switch - and change - and switch and change.. which in turn -kills the battery.
I would bring the car to the dealership ..after making an appointment - telling them "THE RADIO/CD PLAYER IS BROKEN - ORDER ME A NEW ONE IMMEDIATELY AND I WILL COME IN FOR REPLACEMENT" I would get to the dealership with my 4 month old - and my 20 month old.. the reason I bought this car... and I have wait for an hour before they told me I would have to come back because they had to order me a new radio.
Other times - I would have a new radio put into the car - and try to leave - and the bongbongbong that the open door would make would be DEAFENING. After pleading with them - they finally believed me that it was TOO loud - they figured out how to fix it - not without waiting - and in turn it down... and in turn- this killed my speakers. I wasn't about to fight about it.

CD player will not read CDs. Rado works fine. It would cost $385 for a new CD player plus labor cost. Not spending that kind of money on a piece of junk that would probably break down again. I have not had one GM car that the CD/cassette player did not stop working long before the car was paid for.

The CD seems to have something jammed in it, purchased the car used in very good condition. The CD, once discovered reads error when trying to eject.
