My Chevy has a problem with burning oil. I have to drive around with oil in the truck and check it every week to see if it's low, even after I get oil changes. This is ridiculous. I'm a single parent and need a truck I can rely on. There's no oil on the ground and my mechanic told me he would have to take the engine apart to see what the cause is and stated it's cheaper to check the oil weekly than to have him taking the engine apart to find the cause as it would be costly to get him involved. I'm not a mechanic and don't like opening the hood every week to check the oil stick, especially in the winter time. I stood behind Chevy until now. I'm very unhappy with this 2006 Chevy Equinox LT.
