I purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox and purchased the extended warranty for this vehicle since I will need it to last well into my retirement years. The fuel sending unit has stopped working and the dealer says it not covered by the extended warranty. They want me to pay $1,000.00 + dollars to have the sending units replaced. This is the first Chevrolet I have ever owned and I am pretty sure it will be my last. I should have took my son's advise and bought a ford! At least my fuel gauge would be working.

Well I live and I've learned. Why doesn't Chevrolet back it vehicles and it's warranties.
