This repair took dealer 2 -get that- two weeks to repair! I was without my vehicle for 2 weeks for a job that should have taken 2 days.

Odd noise came from passenger front side. As time went on, noise got louder, and thus easier to diagnose. It was either a CV joint or wheel bearing, and a mechanic uncle-in-law of mine was convinced wheel bearing. Good enough for me! Went online and tutored myself on how to replace. Really good video from 1aauto (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bF4ZUPhaWCI&feature=relmfu)= very helpful. Although I knew what to do, doing it was quite a chore. The old hub assembly was a bear to remove. It took on and off pounding with hammers for over two hours. Also used a LP torch, which seemed to help. Eitherwho, new hub went right on and problem solved. I just don't want to do it again!
