WHEN I BOUGHT THIS MACHINE IT HAD 31,000 ON THE ODOMETER AND FOR BEING A 2007 THAT WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. AFTER TWO MONTHS IT WAS LEAKING FUEL AND DID NOT KNOW WHERE UNTIL IT STOPPED. HAD SEALS PUT IN FUEL TANK. TWO MONTHS LATER FUEL PUMP WENT FOR SECOND TIME.
THEN IT BEGAN TO STATE THE STABLE TRACK NOT WORKING SO I BOUGHT IN AND NO ONE KNEW WHAT IT WAS. THEY SAID DON'T WORRY, YOU REALLY DO NOT NEED IT. WELL I WANTED IT. IT KEPT UP EVERY SO MANY MILES, IT JUST WILL NOT LEAVE THE SYSTEM. NOW AFTER PUTING MORE THEN 32,000 MILES ON THIS VEHICLE IT IS REALLY BUGGING ME. I HAVE PUT FILTERS IN, OIL CHANGES, TIRE ROTATIONS, SUSPENSION CHECKS, EVERYTHING THAT I COULD THINK OF BUT PROBLEM IS STILL THERE.
I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO GO. AS FOR ENGINE LOSS OF POWER, THAT BOTHERED ME TOO SO I WILL KEEP CHECKING TILL IT COME OUT.

I once worked as a non-union employee at 2 GM plants. These people (UAW, IBEW) for the most part JUST DON'T CARE.This Equinox aside from having the Stabiltrak come on during a windy day every now and then has been OK. But this time the POWER STEERING just quit and Stabiltrak light came on a while later. Car is VERY hard to drive and UNSAFE when this happens. We're gonna check out cost of fix..and cross fingers it just resets itself again this time... One way or another we're gonna get an EDGE. Ford seems to have always been about Safety. This is our last GM product. 2001 Impala was really a money pit.
