This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
I found a site called GMProblems.com where this was listed as a problem for this vehicle. When I took the vehicle to the dealer, they told me my extended warranty did not cover water leaks or damage. I feel that if this is some sort of design flaw, it should be covered under the extended warranty. I have NO idea where this water is even coming from!!!!
Just about ready to forget it and trade the darn thing off!

It started with the backseat carpets being wet, after trying to figure out where this water is coming from the only spot i find excess water is in the spare tire compartment

The spare tire well was full of water and evidently every time I put on the brakes it would
slosh up into the interior of the car. All back carpets, etc. soaked.
