Drivers side door does not seal well. Left side of the interior is always damp after rain. drips a the upper left seal. But seal looks ok

During a heavy rainfall I entered my car and noticed standing water on my front passenger floorboard. After checking to see if a cup of water had spilled i noticed water leaking down onto my carpet from the right side of the glove compartment on the car wall at a very steady flow. I cannot find where the leak is originating from but it is causing a huge issue and great damage to my carpet. I am worried the water is getting into the electrical system as well.
