So my car is burning oil and when the engine ran out and the car began to shake. I questioned Dealer/GM why if I was out of oil did the oil light not come on - I was told that my car does have the light however I never paid for the feature there for I see the light when I start the car but it won't work because I did not pay for the sensor? I was assured that the engine light would work however again the dealer told me it was completely out of oil and the car was shaking while I was driving it so why did the engine light not come on, if it works? No, it's not defected at all.
