My 2010 Equinox has "Always" been loud but it just keeps getting louder & louder. The dealership can't find anything wrong with it. They act like I'm just being picky or a pain in the A** for mentioning it. I'm terrified since I've recently researched issues on this vehicle & found out so many customers have had or are having engine issues!

Noticed noise when driving and original dealership would not look into it. When it finally got looked at by another dealership, the balance shaft chain and guide had been broken.

CONSTANT RATTLING WHEN AT A STAND OR DRIVING, EVEN AFTER OIL CHANGE WHICH WAS NOT THE PROBLEM.

At 67,000 miles had noisy engine had to replace timing chain and timing chain assembly. At 68,000 miles again a noisy engine had to replace transfer case. Now at 70,000 miles again noisy engine needing to replace pistons and o-rings. Just got it paid for and have nothing but a piece of junk!! This vehicle is the most unreliable that I have ever owned. I always have bought Chevrolet. Never again! My car has been consistently in the shop for the last four months! Off to buy a Honda I go!

It is a really bad car. I add gas, but it take long time to speed up and the engine is noisy.
