Equinox LT 4cy 2.41

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,000 miles

last week after stopping went to put the vehicle in gear and it stalled, slipped it into neutral and it took off but was sluggish this is happening more and more. and now the check engine light came on while driving back from a short trip, nothing but recalls on this year vehicle pain in my butt, have received so many recalls for this vehicle i cant keep up maybe instead of sending recalls the dealerships actually start taking the vehicles in to fix the multiple problems.

Equinox 1LT 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,500 miles

There I was, with my family, on vacation. 400 miles from home and the damn brand new vehicle kept stalling every time I put it into gear. After 23 attempts, OnStar connected ( we were in the boonies) and told me that my vehicle needed IMMEDIATE service. Was told at very nice dealer that the INTAKE CAM PHAZERS had seized. They got the vehicle running, safely and sent me to my home dealer upon my return from vacation. Now, vehicle in shop for 3 days, driving piece of #$it loaner, they tell me I need new Electronic Engine Control Module,( becasue car wont "learn" idel speed,) which Chevy wont gibe them because it is a Retricted part..... meaning many possible attempts to fix before getting new part..... Boy and to think I could bought a Subaru!!!!
